Strategic Doing: The Book

Strategic Doing: The Book

Strategic Doing, the book is coming along. A group writing project with five authors, the book project introduces the 10 skills of complex collaboration. The working title: “Strategic Doing: Ten Skills for Agile Leadership.”

Any kind of ready project is a challenge of maintaining discipline. When the writing project involves a group of authors, the challenge is even more complex. To move us along, we spent 3 days of our spring break in a rented house on Lookout Mountain, Georgia. In our time together, we generated over 35,000 words. We are well on track to our goal. Our next writing retreat will be in the middle of May in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

We hope to have a complete draft by early June.  People seem to be taking an interest. When we made a brief post on LinkedIn, we generated over 4,800 hits. It’s not exactly Big Pink, but it’s close.
