We Teach – Learning How to “Do More Together”

Strategic Doing enables people to form action-oriented collaborations quickly, move them toward measurable outcomes, and make adjustments along the way.  It yields replicable, scalable, and sustainable collaborations based on simple rules.

Contact us if you’re interested in attending an upcoming session or bringing one of our Strategic Doing workshop leaders or faculty to you.

Presentations and keynotes: we talk with groups of any size about Strategic Doing and how they might apply it in their own contexts. In addition to a straightforward presentation with slides and handouts, we also have a number of experiential “games” that help participants learn by doing and experience for themselves how and why Strategic Doing works.

Workshops: groups that are facing a particular problem or challenge often call on us to guide them, teaching the Strategic Doing discipline while at the same time helping the group craft its own strategy.  We’ve worked with groups of 3 and groups of 300. Depending on the scope of the challenge, workshops are usually at least a day in length.

Coaching: Strategic Doing involves building new habits of working together. To that end, our workshops are just the beginning of building those habits, and many groups benefit from a brief but regular coaching presence for the first few months.

For those interested in becoming more skilled in their use of Strategic Doing, our most popular option is a 2.5-day session on leading complex collaborations. This is an interactive, implementation-focused session in which participants learn the basics of Strategic Doing and apply them during the time together, and also get help applying them to their own challenges. Participants can also extend the 2.5 days by completing a “practicum” to become a certified workshop leader, with additional personalized coaching.

In 2017, we have multiple Strategic Doing workshops scheduled. To learn more, contact Ed Morrison.

In 2017, we have several sessions tentatively set and will have details soon. In addition to sessions at Purdue, we’re hitting the road, with locations that include Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Washington DC – with more to come.
