Connecting with Montana Manufacturers and the Montana Photonics Cluster
We are scaling our work in agile strategy – Strategic Doing – through partnerships with other universities. When the Montana Manufacturing Extension Partnership contacted us about doing some workshops in Montana, we defer to our partner at the University of North Alabama. That team is led by Janyce Fadden, a former manufacturing executive with Daniher.
This week, Janyce conducted two workshops, one for Montana MEP at Montana State and one for the photonics cluster in Montana. Out of these workshops, we saw such enthusiasm for our approach that we are now planning a 2 1/2 day practitioner training with Montana State, the University of North Alabama and our Purdue Agile Strategy Lab. The training will be held in August.
The Founder of the Lab at UNA and co-author of Strategic Doing: 10 Skills for Agile Leadership, Ed’s work has focused on developing new models of strategy specifically designed to accelerate complex collaboration in networks and open innovation. He is the original developer of Strategic Doing.
