We finished up our time in New Jersey this week guiding a strategy workshop with administrators from a large health system. As you might imagine, they face lots of strategic issues. Yesterday, we help them tackle some operational concerns related to engineering systems – HVAC, telecommunication, maintenance, etc.

In just three hours we came up with five different strategic opportunities, settled on one we should work on first, defined outcomes, and set a course for action that begins today. The consensus was that if this works they will save millions of dollars and improve the patient experience. Our partners at the New Jersey Innovation Institute will work with them over the next 90 days to keep moving forward.
