Lab goes to Iowa City
The Lab headed to Iowa City to train 22 civic leaders in the new disciplines of agile strategy. The diverse group included the president of the Community Bank, two county commissioners, the head of United Way, the equity director of the Iowa City Human Rights Commission, the head of the Iowa city Chamber of Commerce, and the head of Merge, a co-working space in Iowa City.
We held the training at Merge, a co-working space supported jointly by the City of Iowa City and the University of Iowa. In addition, we had dinner with the Chief of Staff to the president of the University of Iowa to brief him on how we are using agile strategy disciplines at Purdue to build new collaborations.
The Founder of the Lab at UNA and co-author of Strategic Doing: 10 Skills for Agile Leadership, Ed’s work has focused on developing new models of strategy specifically designed to accelerate complex collaboration in networks and open innovation. He is the original developer of Strategic Doing.
