Last week, we conducted a workshop with the Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII) in Chicago. We took this opportunity to video the workshop as part of our partnership with Wiley Educational Services to produce an online graduate level course in agile strategy and collaborative leadership. This course will be launched in October as part of the new online Masters level course in engineering technology, produced by the School of Engineering Technology.
The workshop for DMDII focused on developing an internal roadmapping process to guide the investments of the Institute. We used the workshop to pull together different work streams currently underway at DMDII. In addition, we began defining how we might take traditional roadmapping practices and move them to the next level. We asked yourselves this question: How could we make the roadmapping process more open and interactive?
As a next step, we will provide a strategic action plan back to DMDII.
