Over the past year and a half, we have been partnering with the New Jersey Innovation Institute to design and test new approaches to agile strategy and accelerated innovation. We are also working closely with our partners at Fraunhofer IAO.
Our work focuses on integrating agile strategy with the powerful technology and innovation management tools and frameworks developed by Fraunhofer. The New Jersey Innovation Institute is provided us a platform to test these tools and frameworks. Our collaboration started about 2 years ago, and at the time we summarized what we hoped to accomplish in a video.
In 2015, We introduced our collaboration to New Jersey companies and held a workshop on Fraunhofer technology and innovation management tools. In 2016 we test marketed these tools with Lockheed Corporation. In one pilot project, we evaluated Strategic Doing as a discipline to build an innovation ecosystem quickly. In three other pilot projects, we evaluated Fraunhofer’s TechRadar and MarketExplorer tools. All of our pilots were successful.
Here’s an overview slide deck:
Now we are moving these pilots to a new level by strengthening the capability to run the pilots within NJII. We are also working on adapting our pilots to the needs of small and medium-size enterprises. These tools and frameworks will continue to build out the portfolio services that NJII provides to New Jersey companies. You can see the portfolio here.
