Networks that can power innovation are invisible. The term “social capital” first appeared in the 1880s, but its popularity took off a century later in the 1990s.
Yet, naming these social networks does not help us visualize, design or manage them. Confronted with the fact that organizations get work done through social networks, how we design and guide new social networks to transform organizations and make them more agile and responsive?
